About Coastal Synergy — Spray Foam & Insulation Contractor in Southeast GA & South Carolina

The story behind Coastal Synergy starts with owner Carlos Martinez.

Born and raised in Panama City, Panama, Carlos grew up with a love for baseball and became one of the country's top baseball prospects. In 2010, he signed with the Minnesota Twins organization and spent four years playing professional baseball in the minor leagues.

When his baseball career came to an end, Carlos found a new passion in the insulation industry.

In 2015, he entered the insulation industry as a fiberglass installer and worked his way from the bottom to the top, learning every aspect of the insulation industry, gaining hands-on experience along the way. He eventually advanced into spray foam, where his hard work, skill, knowledge, and craftsmanship quickly set him apart.

As his experience grew, Carlos eventually began training others in spray foam installation, sharing the knowledge and craftsmanship he had developed over the years. What started as a job had become an industry he genuinely loved.

That passion led Carlos to open Coastal Synergy Spray Foam Insulation in January 2022.

His vision was simple: provide exceptional insulation, never compromise on craftsmanship, and help customers understand the building science behind their homes and buildings.

Carlos believes every structure is different and deserves a solution based on its individual needs. That philosophy continues to guide Coastal Synergy today. From the initial evaluation to the final installation, our goal isn't simply to complete another job — it's to provide the right solution and work we are proud to put our name behind.

Carlos has served as a Spray Foam Worldwide Ambassador since 2022, and under his leadership, Coastal Synergy has been voted Statesboro Herald's Best of the Boro – Best Insulation Contractor in 2024, 2025, and 2026.

But the relationships built along the way mean just as much as the awards. Carlos believes in treating customers the way he would want his own family treated — with honesty, respect, education, and quality work.

When he isn't working, you'll usually find Carlos cheering on his three kids from the sidelines of a soccer field, baseball field, or basketball court. He is a devoted husband and father, a man of faith, and who strives to put God at the center of his family and his work.
